This one is for those of you that like Bushcraft & Camping. Here are 5 tarp shelters or tarp tents that are simple to put up. This tutorial takes a step-by-step process showing you how to put up a tarp if you are practising Bushcraft and/or Camping for beginners. The particular tarp I used in this video is a 3mx3m DD Tarp in Olive Green. Bushcraft ft. ALEC STEELE - Fire Lighting, Steak, Axe work - Epic Day at The Camp!

13:33
I head to the Bushcraft Camp in the Forest for a day of Fire Lighting Skills with Alec Steele, the incredible Blacksmith Youtuber! Subscribe to Alec's Channel: https://www.youtube.com/user/alectheblacksmith The aim of the day was to try and teach Alec to light a fire using a number of different fire lighting techniques. Ranging from the traditional flint & steel fire, to making feather sticks as well as using a tinder fungus and dried grass. To begin with, we needed to process the wood using Alec's forged Axe and a folding bow saw. Alec split the fire wood with his hatchet and he further processed it down into kindling using the knife that he had helped me forge in a previous video. Once Alec got the fire going with feather sticks and a ferro rod, we cooked up some fresh steak on the grill. Closely followed by sausages! It was then time to teach Alec how to light a fire with flint & steel, a cramp ball fungus and the classic birch bark fire using bark from the silver birch tree (betula pendula) which has a high resin content. It was great to get Alec out into the woods for a day of Bushcraft and Fire at the Camp! Bushcraft Shelters - Tree Root Shelter with no tools | TA Outdoors

07:40
Mike shows you how to build a bushcraft shelter using no tools. This is a simple, fast and easy shelter to use when you have little time and need to construct a natural shelter using wood from the woods/forest. The structure is a simple "A" Frame shelter, using a large tree root for support. The shelter is covered with moss to protect you from the wind and rain as well as provide insulation for the shelter. It took roughly an hour to build. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Watch more BUSHCRAFT videos here: https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLxnadpeGdTxBqUjgb60isxg1sLCb1soDR ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------- CAMERA & FILMING GEAR I USE: Main Camera: Canon 550d Secondary Camera: http://amzn.to/2cc4yNV Tripod: http://amzn.to/2c3VVXJ Microphone: http://amzn.to/2cKi7Zc BUSHCRAFT GEAR I USE: My Backpack: http://amzn.to/2cKiGlF Folding Saw: http://amzn.to/2cr9iEX Sharpening Stone: http://amzn.to/2cr90O7 Firesteel: http://amzn.to/2cAgYRZ Shemagh: http://amzn.to/2cvsI8Y These are amazon associate links If you wish to send me stuff: Mike Pullen PO Box 7466 HOOK RG27 7NA -----------------------------------SOCIAL MEDIA------------------------------------------------------ Facebook → https://www.facebook.com/totallyawesomeoutdoors ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Check out our other YouTube Channel: TOTALLY AWESOME FISHING: https://www.youtube.com/user/TAFishing

Bushcraft - Making a Fire Reflector the easy way | TA Outdoors

05:33
One of the key skills of Bushcraft is fire lighting. Even more so in cold climates or Winter Time. This video shows you how I make a Bushcraft Fire Heat Reflector to help increase the efficiency of your bushcraft fire in Winter. Made from natural materials found in the woodland, the tools I used to make it consisted of a small folding hand saw and a small axe. It took me roughly an hour to make and if built well, it can last for a very long time. It really does make a huge impact and if you make sure that you angle the fire reflector towards your shelter, it really does make you warmer! It was great fun to make and I generally enjoyed just spending time in the outdoors! (Who doesn't?!) I hope you guys enjoy the video, I have more bushcraft videos coming, be sure to check them out on our "Bushcraft" playlist :) Please feel free to leave a comment, I am always open to feedback. - Mike ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Click here for more BUSHCRAFT videos: https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLxnadpeGdTxBqUjgb60isxg1sLCb1soDR ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- CAMERA & FILMING GEAR I USE: Main Camera: Canon 550d Secondary Camera: http://amzn.to/2cc4yNV Tripod: http://amzn.to/2c3VVXJ Microphone: http://amzn.to/2cKi7Zc BUSHCRAFT GEAR I USE: My Backpack: http://amzn.to/2cKiGlF Folding Saw: http://amzn.to/2cr9iEX Sharpening Stone: http://amzn.to/2cr90O7 Firesteel: http://amzn.to/2cAgYRZ Shemagh: http://amzn.to/2cvsI8Y These are amazon associate links If you wish to send me stuff: Mike Pullen PO Box 7466 HOOK RG27 7NA -----------------------------------SOCIAL MEDIA------------------------------------------------------ Facebook → https://www.facebook.com/totallyawesomeoutdoors ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Check out our other YouTube Channel: TOTALLY AWESOME FISHING: https://www.youtube.com/user/TAFishing

Emergency Survival Fire Starter - Char Cloth | TA Outdoors

02:58
This video shows you how to make Char Cloth for fire lighting. Char Cloth can be incredibly useful especially when you need to make a fire quickly. It is very easy to make, and you can use almost any cotton material. 100% cotton material will work best. I used a towel in this video. Just punch a hole in a tin lid (sweetie tin or tuna tin), add cut up sections of towel. Put on embers of a fire for 20 minutes. Take it off the fire and leave it to cool for 10 minutes and then you'll have Char Cloth! Put a spark to it and it will create an ember, which when used with tinder such as dry/dead grass will help you start a fire! ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Click here for more BUSHCRAFT videos: https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLxnadpeGdTxBqUjgb60isxg1sLCb1soDR ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- -----------------------------------SOCIAL MEDIA------------------------------------------------ Facebook → https://www.facebook.com/totallyawesomeoutdoors ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Check out our other YouTube Channel: TOTALLY AWESOME FISHING: https://www.youtube.com/user/TAFishing If you wish to send me stuff: Mike Pullen PO Box 7466 HOOK RG27 7NA

Bushcraft Camp Update 1 - Bushcraft Breakfast | TA Outdoors

15:28
I decided to make the most of a mild December and have a bushcraft breakfast at the camp. The shelters are still going well. I made a fire from birch bark and dead bracken. As well as a general bushcraft video this is also an update on the camp that I have been building. I decided to make another fire reflector next to the A-frame shelter as the strong wind was making my fire burn too quickly. Didn't quite finish the wall but you will see how far I got, it should look good when it's done! How to make Natural Cordage from Tree Roots | TAOutdoors

05:17
When out in the forest or woods, it is surprising how much natural cordage is available to you. The woods I spend a lot of time in are coniferous woods full of black pine trees (Pinus Nigra, which have shallow roots that are easily accessible with a little digging. To make the roots useable as cordage you can strip the coating off them and split the root to make it more supple and pliable. You can also add water to the root to help make knots tighter and make it easier to work with. Hope you enjoy the video - Mike. Bahco Laplander Folding Saw Review and Test | TA Outdoors

04:35
If you are into your bushcraft, fishing, wild camping and the wilderness, you might want a folding saw. Mike Pullen gives you a full review of the Bahco Laplander Folding Saw (396LAP) and he puts it to the test on logs of different diameters. The blade itself is made of high quality Sandvik steel. It has a non-stick protecting coating which helps the blade to glide through when cutting and prevents the blade from bending when sawing on the downward stroke. The Bahco XT toothing cut in both directions when sawing. The blade has a lock system on both the open and close. The weight is around 200g, the blade length is 7.5 inches and overall length when sheathed is around 9 inches. It also has the option of a lanyard. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Click here for more OUTDOOR GEAR REVIEW videos: https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLxnadpeGdTxCikoV9JEnY9eZdaDlR5sgc ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- CAMERA & FILMING GEAR I USE: Main Camera: Canon 550d Secondary Camera: http://amzn.to/2cc4yNV Tripod: http://amzn.to/2c3VVXJ Microphone: http://amzn.to/2cKi7Zc BUSHCRAFT GEAR I USE: My Backpack: http://amzn.to/2cKiGlF Folding Saw: http://amzn.to/2cr9iEX Sharpening Stone: http://amzn.to/2cr90O7 Firesteel: http://amzn.to/2cAgYRZ Shemagh: http://amzn.to/2cvsI8Y These are amazon associate links -----------------------------------SOCIAL MEDIA------------------------------------------------ Facebook → https://www.facebook.com/totallyawesomeoutdoors ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- If you wish to send me stuff: Mike Pullen PO Box 7466 HOOK RG27 7NA Check out our other YouTube Channel: TOTALLY AWESOME FISHING: https://www.youtube.com/user/TAFishing

Bushcraft Camp Update 8 - Raised Camp Bed | TAOutdoors

I head back to the Bushcraft Camp, this time to show you how I make a raised camp bed using dead wood from the forest. I also cooked some lunch on the fire pit and used the cooking crane again! I'm really liking the fire/cooking set up, it's working very well and actually this end of the bushcraft camp is almost complete! I still need to finish off the side walls of the secondary shelter but at the moment it is looking more like my primary shelter! I still have quite a bit of work to do on the primary shelter and there are a number of other small changes and additions I would like to make to the camp. I just wanted to say thank you to everyone who has subscribed to the Channel and for giving me such great feedback, and thanks to all those who are hitting the thumbs up button and showing your support! Off Grid Pallet Wood Cabin Build in the Forest for Free - Wood Floor, Wall & Frame Structure

25:08
The second instalment of the off-grid one man cabin build using free reclaimed pallet wood. Now that the pallets have been processed down and the wood floor and foundation is complete, it was time to focus on the main structure of the cabin. We carried the wood in by hand as we have no saw mill. This meant that we could put together the walls of the cabin in the woods using reclaimed nails where possible. We are going for a classic log cabin look to the structure, with an apex roof and a window. We had to put the frame together in pieces as the original pallets aren't large enough. Once we had each side built, we screwed them in place to create the cabin shape itself. We also used some Bushcraft Skills with the axe and knife to weave a wall from the log store to the cabin itself. Next time we hope to put up the roof of the shelter. Hopefully you guys enjoy this primitive hut build and we hope to see you again in the next video on TA Outdoors. I use it with a trangia alcohol spirit burner and it works a treat! It even has a mould that perfectly fits the trangia burner. One-Man Off Grid Cabin using Free Recycled Pallet Wood - Roof & Front Porch Build

30:32
The Off Grid Pallet Wood Cabin build in the Forest continues. The aim of this wilderness project is to try and build a one man off-grid tiny house using free reclaimed pallet wood. The first stage of the build was to create a wood based platform or foundations for the cabin. We then built the side walls and frame for the cabin. This episode focuses on the cabin roof and how we went about building the roof. Unfortunately we only had two pieces of tin sheet for the roof, which mean that the roof is technically on the wrong way around. But it's ok as this cabin build is more about me spending time with my dad. We then began work on building a front porch using planks of pallet wood. All of the timber is reclaimed for free. We also cook up some fresh fish on the cast iron grill and campfire at The Bushcraft Camp. Thanks to everyone who watched the previous two episodes of this primitive cabin build. Bushcraft Camp Update 9 - FIRE, SHELTER, COOKING & LOG STORE!!

14:16
I've made some big changes to the bushcraft camp since the previous update video. As well as finishing the perimeter walls, I built a log store, completely redesigned the primary shelter, and improved the secondary shelter setup. I bought my puppy Jaxx along with me (breed - Jack Russell Terrier). He loves coming to the camp! It's his den now and he feels right at home there. I still have more improvements that I want to make to the camp - what are your suggestions? Bushcraft Camp Update 7 - Cooking Set-up | TAOutdoors

The Bushcraft Camp series is back! This time I head to my Bushcraft Shelter and show you my bushcraft camp fire cooking crane/pot hanger set-up. I hadn't been to the shelter for 2 months since this video so it was looking a little tired and needs some maintenance! Thanks for all of the suggestions from you guys on the previous camp update videos about doing a tripod set up or a grill set up. I have opted to go with a modified "Aures Crane", named after Victor Aures, a Scout Master from Buffalo, NY. Making a Hatchet with ALEC STEELE - Forging with a Sledge Hammer!

24:33
I head back to Alec Steele's workshop to forge my own custom Hatchet. Alec taught me how to forge with a sledge hammer as well as how to put a handle on an axe. SUBSCRIBE TO ALEC'S CHANNEL: https://www.youtube.com/alecsteele Learning to forge with Alec has been a fantastic experience! We used 1055 steel for the axe head, and ash for the handle. Forging with strikers is something I have never done before, and getting to use the Sledge Hammer to hit red hot steel is just awesome! Alec showed me the whole process on heat treating the axe head, grinding the bevel with various grits on the belt grinder. For the handle he used the band saw to carve out a rough shape. Then Alec went old school and used a draw knife to shape the edges. He finished it up on the belt grinder. To finish it off we oiled it with linseed oil. Stay tuned on my channel as I head out into the woods soon to put the hatchet to the test and practice some Bushcraft & Survival skills using the tool! Off Grid Cabin in the Forest using Recycled Pallet Wood - Woodstove Cooking & Log Store

25:53
Building this Off Grid Wood Cabin from recycled Pallet Wood has been such a great wilderness project with my Dad. So far we have saved money buy scavenging for materials for free. We have recycled old nails where possible and the aim is to try and build the cabin on the cheap. At first it was looking more like a primitive hut but since building a bed, folding table, chair, roof and putting in a woodstove, the Cabin is starting to look like a cosy tiny house. The fact that it is located in the woods makes you feel much closer to nature and the wild. In this episode we build a log store, and folding seat for the bed. We also get the woodstove going and cook some food and reflect on the Cabin build that we have made. Primitive Survival Shelter Build with Bare Hands - No Tools Needed

26:06
I head into the forest to to build a primitive survival shelter using just my hands and no tools. This bushcraft shelter is ideal for a 24 hour survival situation. I forage for resources and use nature to my advantage. Using natural materials such as sticks and moss to build this primitive shelter. Building a bushcraft shelter can be a challenge, but by using minimal effort and your intuition you can work with nature to protect and provide for yourself. I scout the area for a fallen tree. I use the tree as a ridgepole for the A-frame shelter. Using sticks to support the frame of the shelter, I then use moss on the wood roof to keep the rain out. If I was looking to bug out, this would be the type of low-profile, stealth shelter that I would build. Here is a previous shelter I built using No Tools: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yOIXeFtBYB0 Follow me on Instagram for Behind the Scenes Pics: https://www.instagram.com/taoutdoorofficial/ My Facebook Page: https://www.facebook.com/totallyawesomeoutdoors If you wish to send me stuff: Mike Pullen PO Box 7466 HOOK RG27 7NA Subscribe to our other Fishing YouTube Channel "TAFishing" here: https://www.youtube.com/tafishing

Bushcraft Knife Review - TBS Boar | TA Outdoors

Bushcraft is becoming increasingly popular in the UK. One of the most important tool is a bushcraft knife. They need to be strong, durable, sharp and practical. The TBS Boar ticks all of these boxes. It is a good quality bushcraft knife that is not made in large quantities like some knives. Mike gives a full review of the knife, as well as a test on feathering sticks at the end of the video. Bushcraft Backpack Review - Snugpak Stamina | TAOutdoors

Snugpak Stamina: http://amzn.to/2cKiGlF After many questions from you guys on the Bushcraft Camp Update videos as to what Backpack I use, I decided to do a review of it. The Snugpak Stamina 40L is a very well made backpack. Snugpak are a British company and I feel that the gear that they make is built to last. I did a lot of research before I bought this bag and it was worth it. Having used it fairly rigorously over the past 6 months it is holding up very well. It has comfortable straps, ample space but not too big and bulky when full. The reason I needed a 40L bag is because I have the additional filming gear that I carry with me: Camera, Tripod, Microphone and Camera accessories. The full specs of the bag can be seen below: Snugpak Stamina Specs: - Weight: 1440g - Size: 40L - Outer Fabric: 600D Nylon - Dimensions: 67cm(H), 43cm(W) - Colour: Olive - Rain protector included - Water repellant - Padded shoulder straps and back support - Hydration bladder compatible CAMERA & FILMING GEAR I USE: Main Camera: Canon 550d Secondary Camera: http://amzn.to/2cc4yNV Tripod: http://amzn.to/2c3VVXJ Microphone: http://amzn.to/2cKi7Zc BUSHCRAFT GEAR I USE: My Backpack: http://amzn.to/2cKiGlF Folding Saw: http://amzn.to/2cr9iEX Sharpening Stone: http://amzn.to/2cr90O7 Firesteel: http://amzn.to/2cAgYRZ Shemagh: http://amzn.to/2cvsI8Y These are amazon associate links If you wish to send me stuff: Mike Pullen PO Box 7466 HOOK RG27 7NA ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- More Bushcraft Videos videos: Camp Update 6: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IWpvuLz_V4A Camp update 5 - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IGrSmcxqOxk Camp Update 4 - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=j6cq3G1HG8U Camp Update 3 - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yAPJDzYNPP0 Camp Update 2 - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QrStYb5n2fA Camp Update 1 - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xdmk8hUENGA BUSHCRAFT PLAYLIST: https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLxnadpeGdTxBqUjgb60isxg1sLCb1soDR ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ -----------------------------------SOCIAL MEDIA------------------------------------------------ Facebook → https://www.facebook.com/totallyawesomeoutdoors ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Check out our other YouTube Channel: TOTALLY AWESOME FISHING: https://www.youtube.com/user/TAFishing

Bushcraft Shelters - The A Frame Shelter | TA Outdoors

Making a shelter out of natural woodland materials is an essential bushcraft skill. There is a number of techniques and shelters out there. Mike Pullen shows you the A-frame bushcraft shelter. Using materials found around him and armed with just a folding saw, Mike gives you some tips on his version of the 'A' frame shelter. Mike is in a coniferous forest and is surrounded by predominantly pine trees. The shelter takes roughly an hour to build depending on how large you make it. He uses bracken to waterproof the outer layer. We hope you enjoy the video, Mike will be back out in the field soon! Bushcraft Camp Update 3 - Improving Shelter | TA Outdoors

18:20
I'm back at the bushcraft camp! This time I'm focusing on improving my 'A' frame shelter. I'm using a tarp to make it more waterproof and I also made it larger to store logs and have more space etc. I finally finished the 4th wall of the camp! Took me ages but it's done now. I only have about two more walls to finish and then I can build the second shelter which I plan to be a lean-to. Oh, I also made a chopping log which you can see in a recent bushcraft video I did separately. I decided to make a small cup table too, from an old log I found. The camp is really starting to come along now. Didn't manage to finish putting the bracken on the shelter, so that will need to happen next time I go there. I will also start thinking about making a fire pit. Thanks for all your input guys! Any more suggestions as to what you think I might need in camp, please comment below. In this video Graeme makes a Primitive Fishing rod from a bamboo cane, he uses horse hair as fishing line and he tries to catch a fish using primitive fishing skills. Learning Primitive Technology is a great way to get back in touch with our past. Honing and developing the skills to survive in the wilderness with almost nothing. Crafting stone tools from hand, building natural shelters with natural materials, using Bushcraft to connect and utilise the materials that nature can provide. These are all important towards self reliance and living a sustainable lifestyle. Although this video features modern equipment in some parts of the fishing, it still brings across the primitive skills that can be applied to help you survive. Graeme shows a number of ways to plait and braid the horse hair to make it stronger, he splits the bamboo stick to strengthen it with another piece of bamboo. He uses modern day paperclips, and moulds them into eyelets for the fishing rod. And he uses an ancient 120 year old miniature fishing reel. We hope you enjoy this short primitive video! Cooking Steak on the Grill at The Bushcraft Camp - Log Cabin Fire, Wood Splitting.

19:03
I head to The Bushcraft Camp in the Forest to cook some Steak on the campfire. This time I used the Log Cabin fire method to get a good bed of cooking coals before putting the 21-day matured Steak on the Grill. Whilst the steak cooks I get the billy can boiling ready for some fresh coffee. As Dad is with me on this one, we took some time splitting wood for the log store ready for the cold winter. We then set the HD trail camera to try and record deer and wild game that roam the forest. Bushcraft & Fishing - Catch and Cook Fresh Fish on the Grill at The Bushcraft Camp

I took my Dad to The Bushcraft Camp where we do a catch and cook over the campfire. We decided to grill the Mackerel that dad caught fresh the day before when sea fishing with his friend Wayne. When we first got to the Camp we noticed some Deer, so I went up to the Hunting Tower and we got some incredible footage of two Deer. Hope you enjoy it - Mike. Bushcraft Camp: Full Super Shelter Build from Start to Finish.

01:01:30
This is all 13 Bushcraft Camp Update episodes merged into one, with no talking, just pure bushcraft shelter building. Featuring the Hunting Tower with ladder, Dog House, Giant Lean-to shelter, small lean to shelter with wood roof, raised bed, fire pit, log store, main tarp roof with pulley system, bushcraft bench and all perimeter walls. The Bushcraft Camp Update series has been my favourite series to date. Building a natural shelter from resources found in the woods has always been a passion of mine, as has spending the night alone in the forest. By building this camp I have the opportunity to learn Bushcraft & Survival skills whilst doing solo overnight camps at the same time. To start with I built this supershelter using cheap tools to save money. As my knowledge developed I began to purchase better quality tools to help me get tasks done faster. My favourite part of the series was definitely Bushcraft Camp Update 11 where I built the Hunting Tower with ladder completely on my own. It wasn't an easy build, and I made many mistakes along the way, but I learnt from them, and for me that was the most important part: to learn to work with nature and not against it. Now that this Bushcraft Log Cabin is pretty much complete, I can spend time chilling in the woods, learning more about my surroundings and learning primitive technology to further develop my survival knowledge. This adventure has been amazing and I'm so pleased you guys could join along with me. Off Grid Tiny Cabin: Pallet Wood Projects & Cast Iron Grill Cooking

22:46
We're back at the off grid cabin in the woods for some more pallet wood projects. We also get the campfire going and do some cooking on the cast iron grill and cooking tripod. The wilderness pallet homestead is coming along, with the Cabin pretty much finished, complete with woodstove, raised bed, folding table, chair and book case. We are now focusing on the outside of the cabin. last episode we built a raised vegetable bed and polytunnel in the spring garden ready to plant some vegetables. This time we build a pallet wood compost bin to complement the vegetable bed, and a small bin for any waste from inside the cabin. Out the back of the lean to shelter, we build a table for a wash and cleaning area. We hope you enjoy following the adventure! Bushcraft Fire Lighting: Birch Bark Fire | TA Outdoors

09:45
A short Bushcraft video on how to start a fire using Birch Bark and a ferro rod. One of the best ways to start a fire in the rain or wet conditions. Silver Birch bark has a high content of oil and when the surface is scraped with a knife it produces fine dust particles and scrapings which ignite when a spark is put to them. Add some dry tinder to the birch bark once lit and you now have the basics of a fire. It is best to collect Birch Bark from dead Silver Birch Trees. In fact, the bark peels off much easier on dead silver birch as it is one of the last parts of the tree to rot, given it's water resistant qualities. Building an Off Grid Cabin in the Forest using Free Pallet Wood - A Wilderness Project

21:49
This is the first video in a series with my Dad where we are building an off-grid one man wood cabin from reclaimed Pallet Wood that we scavenged for free. In the first episode, we show you the site that we have chosen in the woods and the type of land that we are building the cabin on. The first stage of the primitive cabin build was to collect the pallets and break them down to gain useable pieces of timber. We have no saw mill, so we need to do this stage ourselves. We then began to put together the foundations for the cabin and create a wood base for the cabin to stand on. This cabin is located at one of our Bushcraft Camp sites. So after a hard days work we got the fire going and cooked up some food on the cast iron grill. I hope you guys enjoy this cabin build series. It gives me a great chance to spend time with my Dad on this wilderness project together. Hope you enjoy coming along on the adventure! Cooking at The Bushcraft Camp - Axe, Fire, Shelter, Wilderness Survival Tips & Grilled Kebabs

32:17
I head to The Bushcraft Camp to do some camp fire cooking. I use my saw, axe and knife to process fire wood and carve some small plates. In this video I also give a few survival tips as well as cook some kebabs on the grill and chill with a beer. In Bushcraft Camp Update 14 Dad built a fire pit made from an old car wheel. We also dug out a tunnel to make better air flow into the camp itself. The fire now burns much more efficiently and we more or less a smoke free fire. I still use the pot hanger and cooking crane to boil up coffee.
